Ear Lobe Aesthetics

There are generally two issues related to the earlobe. One is deformities caused by earring use, and the other is the sagging or deflation of the earlobe associated with advanced age. Deformities caused by wearing heavy earrings or tearing of the earlobe due to earrings can be repaired using specific aesthetic surgical techniques. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The earlobe piercing is reduced, allowing the person to continue wearing earrings.

If there is sagging and deflation of the earlobe, hyaluronic acid filler injections can be performed. If there is elongation or enlargement of the earlobe, it can be surgically reduced. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
