It is known as the Non-Surgical Method. Hair is individually extracted along with the roots using a special device and then implanted into the recipient areas where channels are opened. No stitches are made, and there is no scar formation. It is preferable for the hair density to be high and the hair strands to be thick in the donor area where the hair is taken, usually from the back of the head, but occasionally from other areas like the chest hair. The area completely heals within ten days. Small holes are created in the area where the hair transplant will be performed using special needles, and the hair, which has been separated into follicular units, is placed in these holes. The angle at which the hair is transplanted is parallel to the angle of the original hair. The use of follicular units in hair transplantation provides the patient with a natural appearance. The transplanted hair sheds within two to three weeks and regrows permanently within two to three months. It is a painless procedure performed under local anesthesia. This procedure, which should be carried out in a hospital and operating room conditions, takes an average of 5 hours.
Due to its non-visible scarring in the donor area, painlessness, absence of stitches, and early recovery, it has been increasingly preferred by patients and doctors in recent years. After FUE, one day of rest is recommended, and the patient can return to work the following day. The transplanted hair starts to grow from the third month, and it takes an average of 9 months for all of it to grow.
